Nadziewane papryki z mięsem mielonym/ Stuffed bell pepperswith ground meat

Podróżując po zachodniej części USA nie mam zbyt wiele czasu na gotowanie ;( Dzisiaj przygotowałam moje ulubione nadziewane papryki z mięsem mielonym :) Zapraszam ;)

Traveling around the western part of the U.S. I do not have much time to cook; ( Today I made my favorite stuffed bell peppers with ground meat :) Enjoy;)




Składniki:
1 lb mielonego mięsa wołowego
2 łyżeczki cajun lub przyprawy do mięsa
3 średnie pomidory, pokrojone w kostkę
8 średnich pieczarek, pokrojonych w kostkę
1 ząbek czosnku, wyciśnięty
1/2 dużej czerwonej cebuli, pokrojonej w kostkę
1 jajko, rozbełtane
sól, pieprz świeżo zmielony
8 łyżek startego zółtego sera lub 4 plasterki żółtego sera
4 duże papryki, bez pestek i wymyte
oliwa z oliwek

1. Do garnka włożyć mięso mielone i posypać cajun. Wymieszać. Gotować na małym ogniu do momentu, aż mięso nie będzie już różowe.
2. Na patelnię wyłożyć cebulę. Smażyć, aż będzie miękka. Dodać pieczarki i czosnek, smażyć kolejne 4-5 minut, aż pieczarki puszczą sok.  Dodać pomidory i gotować kolejne3-4 minuty. 
3. W misce wymieszać mięso i warzywa. Dodać jajko, przyprawy i wymieszać.
4. Żaroodporne naczynie nasmarować oliwą.
5. Nafaszerować papryki przygotowaną miksturą z mięsa. Wyłożyć do żaroodpornego naczynia. Posypać serem.
6. Wstawić do piekarnika na 45 minut nagrzanego do 180 stopni C/ 350 stopni F.

Ingredients:
1 lb ground  beef meat
2 teaspoons Cajun or seasoning for meat
3 medium tomatoes, diced
8 medium mushrooms, diced
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/2 large red onion, diced
1 egg, lightly beaten
salt and freshly ground pepper
8 tablespoons grated cheese or 4 slices of cheese
4 large peppers, seedless and washed
olive oil

1. Place the ground meat into the pan and sprinkle with cajun. Mix. Cook over low heat until the meat is not pink.
2. Put the onions into the frying pan. Fry until soft. Add the mushrooms and garlic and fry for another 4-5 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender. Add the tomatoes and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
3. In a bowl, mix the meat and vegetables. Add egg, spices and mix.
4. Grease an ovenproof dish with olive oil.
5. Put meat mixture into prepared bell peppers. Put into the ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
6. Put into the oven preheated to 180 degrees C / 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
